PSV STEERING PRODUCTS

Seltech Engineering was conceived in 1992 after the closure of the Steering division of Automotive Products, primarily to provide a continuity of service to the bus and truck  spares industry. Working in partnership with Pailton Engineering the new owners of the original equipment manufacturers for steering equipment, SEP has positioned itself firmly at the heart of the distribution industry for commercial steering equipment. All current SEP staff are ex Automotive Products employees with a combined AP working experience of over 50 years coming from sales, engineering, design, planning and manufacturing areas.

Seltech Engineering have been at the forefront of supply and development of quality assured Passenger vehicle steering products since 1992. SEP is the main service distributor for OE manufacturer Pailton Engineering of Coventry, for products where Pailton are not the direct service provider. Pailton Engineering supply direct original equipment to many of the UK PSV manufacturers.

We currently stock original equipment draglinks for many popular buses and coaches which are in current use along with track rod ends, draglink ends, steering shafts and universal joints. Combine this with a wide range of parts for vehicle manufacturers including AWD, Dennis, Renault Dodge, Mercedes and others and Seltech is your one stop distributor for quality and reliability.

 

FORK LIFT TRUCK SPARES

Seltech Engineering has long been a supplier to the forklift industry starting with Boss trucks later to become Jungheinrich. SEP has been involved at the development stage of some of the later Boss Trucks vehicles and still supply to their Jungheinrich spares depot in Milton Keynes. Although our speciality is with Boss Trucks, we supply both steering and hydraulic parts for other manufacturers including climax.

 

CLASSIC CAR HYDRAULICS

In the last eight years SEP has expanded into the hydraulics market for the classic car market where we are suppliers of original equipment from Caparo AP Braking, formerly “The Lockheed Hydraulic Brake” division of Automotive Products Plc including many Mini and Morris Minor parts.

We currently have good stocks of all popular classic car braking parts and are negotiating to supply clutch kits and components to further enhance our range to the classic car market.

We supply many of the Mini distributers with Caparo AP Braking parts which now includes the original tin tank versions of the clutch and brake master cylinders.
